@xaviqaz What do we get from Brussels in return ? What do we get from the euro in return ? Cheaper oil, for a start, cheaper imports in general, more effiscient intra-european trade. We need a federation, a political federation because we are the biggest economic player in the world, however, because we are politically divided, with all our useless national governments, we have little power in the world. We could have the US and China for breakfast if we were united in a federation.

So, how could we dare to call us again ‘European Union’ without Greece? I think we couldn’t. I think we are loosing the fundamental concept of community, too affected by own personal interests than the good of the all.

@dimitrisira81 Nobody gives you money for free. They would be idiots. Why should anyone give you money? Greeks cheat on taxes, pay next to nothing to the budget, but every single one of them wants money from the government. You want everything for nothing. I’m from Slovakia and when in the early 1990s we had problems because of our government, nobody was giving or lending us money. We had to suck it up and each and every one of the citizens had to work harder and save money. You did nothing.
